having the ad problem aside, something simply doesn't fit about the cat's physics. Looks like I'm rolling an unbalanced eliptic ball.
The game's nice; needs some polishing though.

Gosh... that's a nice game indeed, ay ~ feels like those eternal Sierra adventure games...
Thank you so much! Kings Quest was my main inspiration, so your comment means a lot to me.
I agree to some of the other reviewers - the tutorial's way too long (much too static info to absorb). Were it mayhap embeded within the gameplay, would it then be more pleasant. 3.5/5.
At first I found it quite naïve, but after I saw some other 'mædchenspiele' I felt quite sick. Come on, 'games for girls'? This game is quite an insult to women.
Fantastic... =D
(too bad 'tis but too short)
The concept is good, albeit it still need a lot of improvement.
1.Gamespeed is way TOO fast (fast eyes, fast bugs, etc etc)
2.Colour layout is not helping - too flashy, too colorful, sometimes eye-hurting to the point of annoying
3.Low-res sprites & backgrounds
4.Mouse cursor is too small, thus compromising interaction.
Like said, the concept is nice (remembers me of Altoids' game, @ their webpage). Perhaps if you redo this one of yours, it mayhap come into a nicer game. The rating goes for concept and sound.
The game's quite allright - and well, I'd give nay much attention to people saying it's a copycat game.
After all, there are gazillion copies of sorta-like-mariobros and I see ho haters hatin' them.
Great!! =D
(BTW, made me remember of Panic!, for SegaCD... cool man, cool! Thx, keep 'em comin'!)
That's a nice game, very carefully-drawn (there are even moveshades at the saws =) but I think that there are some things that take fun away from the play.
Suggestions:
The character could be able to fall down faster by pressing the down-arrow; it wouldn't also be bad if the char moved faster. The music isn't quite fitting to the game context, I'd suggest something more tribal-like (y'know that song from chrono trigger, when the player's at the stone age? something like that). A pause button's also very important - especially if gameplay is long enough for a phone ringing, or a person drawing your attention for some seconds. You could also add some xp-earning/coin-earning multiplyer, perhaps by falling too, or just by popping up like the shrooms.
Glitches/bugs
The character gets its life mushrooms from too far, sometimes 'twas nay even necessary to touch them (same goes for some coins, sometimes). Some falling objects killed my char even after the ball had already passed through the midgap. The fallingchar earns xp even when it dies and passes thru the ground by the same time a falling object hits the same ground. There is one of the shop items that's not in purchasingvalue order.
Question
Why is it that you buy things using personal experience - and accumulates solids results by saving more and more coins? I'd suggest the opposite, it would make more sense to me.
